Privacy and cookies

We take privacy and security seriously. This section explains more about this.
Our website complies with all PH national laws and requirements for user privacy.

Cookies

We use cookies on our website to give you the best possible experience.
Cookies are small files saved to your hard drive that track, save and store information about the interactions and use of our website. This helps us manage access, enable commenting and provide a tailored experience.
If you don’t want to use cookies, that’s fine. You can change the settings in your web browser to block cookies from our website.
One of the cookies we use is provided by Google Analytics to help track how our website is working. It monitors engagement and usage of the website but doesn’t store, save or collect personal information. You can read Google’s privacy policy to find out more about this kind of thing: www.google.com/privacy.html.

Personal details

If you get in touch with us through our website and apps, we’ll make sure we keep your personal information all private and secure. We’ll keep it safe and sound until we no longer need it. We know all about the Data Protection Act and make sure we keep to the rules. If you get in touch with us, we may send you our email newsletter, if we think it’s relevant to you. You can always unsubscribe from it but we hope you won’t want to. We don’t give your details to other companies, organisations or people without your permission.

Email newsletter

We use email newsletters to keep people in touch with what we’re up to. You can subscribe on this website using the subscription form. It’s a very interesting newsletter and we hope you wouldn’t want to stop receiving it, but if you don’t want it any more, there’s a link on every email to unsubscribe.
Our email marketing may contain tracking facilities within the email. Subscriber activity is tracked and stored for future analysis and evaluation. The kind of thing we look at includes the opening of emails, forwarding of emails, clicking of links within our emails, as well as the times, dates and frequency of activity. We do this to refine future email campaigns and make sure our emails are as relevant and useful as possible.
We play by the rules, so make sure we follow the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 and the Data Protection Act 1998 when we’re producing the newsletter. No personal details are passed on to third parties nor shared with companies/people outside of the company that operates this website.

Your information

Under the Data Protection Act 1998, you can ask for a copy of personal information we have about you. If you would like a copy of the information held on you, please get in touch.

External links

We always try to provide quality, safe and relevant external links. It’d be a bit embarrassing to link to something unsavoury or undesirable really. But please remember we can’t guarantee or verify the contents of any external website. That means we have to say to all our users that they click on external links at their own risk and we can’t be held liable for any damages or implications caused by visiting any external links.
